KARACHI: After the metropolis received the first spell of monsoon rain on Tuesday, the Met department stated that it could not make any clear prediction about rainfall in the city for Thursday.
However, the Met department did forecast rain in other parts of the country for Thursday. In Balochistan, Kalat, Zhob division, Makran and Quetta are expected to receive rainfall with thunder and lightning.
As far as Punjab is concerned Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Bahawalpur and Dera Gazi Khan are expected to receive rainfall.
From Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Malakand, Peshawar, Hazara and Mardan division are expected to receive rainfall on Thursday.
Some areas of Islamabad, FATA and Kashmir are also expected to receive rainfall with strong winds.
The pattern of rainfall in Sindh has stopped for the time being, said the Met department.
