ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Awami Muslim League (AML) chief Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed said on Friday that terms of reference (ToRs) from the opposition parties are final and no change can be made in this regard.
Speaking to a private TV channel, he said that a meeting of the opposition leaders will be held on Monday before the National Assembly session to finalise next strategy. He said Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan had categorically stated that they would not accept judicial commission constituted by the chief justice on ToRs of the government.
The AML chief said National Assembly Leader of Opposition Syed Khurshid Shah have to go his native town that’s why he called meeting of the opposition leaders on Monday. He welcomed the committee formed by the government to review ToRs of opposition, saying they will see how it goes forward.
Rasheed said ToRs of opposition are final as they are approved by eight political parties and no change can made in this regard. He said that real ‘terrorists’ are those who transfer money abroad, adding that kids of rich are enjoying lavish lives while kids of poor people are facing miseries to meet both ends. He said the ruling government has made the nation debtor.
